Dr. Kim is a third generation acupuncturist with over 20 years of experience. His grandfather and mother was acupuncturists and he grew up as a potential acupuncturist. He obtained a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Dongguk University-Los Angeles of Oriental Medicine and achieved highest level of training and passed national standards.
In 2003, he obtained a Diplomate in Acupuncture of the I.A.M.A (International Acupuncture Missionary Association) and obtained a Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine at American Liberty University in 2013.
He is also certified by The National Board Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has a license for acupuncture in California and South Carolina. As a newer generation acupuncturist, he has learned to appreciate both traditional medicine and integrative medicine which can enhance the treatment effect in patients.
3 Goals in taking care of patients ;
1. To treat the patient as a whole organism where the physical body and mind together form a unique relationship with the environment.
2. To seek a cause for disease and distress.
3. To assist the patient in becoming renewed, revitalized, and to reach his/her full potential.

After graduation of school, he joined an integrated medical clinic in Atlanta, Georgia with the Master, Dr. Namsoo Kim, who is the renowned acupuncturist in the world. Dr. Namsoo Kim was born in 1915 and has been practicing over 80 years. He has taken care of lots of celebrities like ex-president of Korea, politicians, actors, actress etc.
From him, Dr. Kim got special training for Korean traditional acupuncture and moxibustion with real heart for patients.
